Plagiarism Policy

The Law Brigade Publishers is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity in our publications. This policy outlines our expectations regarding plagiarism and the use of AI-generated content in submitted manuscripts.

  1. Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the act of presenting the work of another as one’s own without proper attribution. This includes:

  • Verbatim copying of text without quotation marks and proper citation.
  • Paraphrasing content without proper attribution.
  • Mosaic plagiarism, where content from multiple sources is combined without proper citation.

The Law Brigade Publishers enforces a strict plagiarism policy. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 10% will be returned to the authors for revision and resubmission. Similarity will be determined through a plagiarism detection software.

  1. AI-Generated Content

The Law Brigade Publishers has a zero-tolerance policy for AI-generated content in submitted manuscripts.

We believe that original research and critical analysis are fundamental to the advancement of legal scholarship. AI-generated content undermines these core principles and can potentially lead to the dissemination of inaccurate or misleading information.

  1. Manuscript Review Process

Manuscripts that meet the following criteria will be forwarded to the peer-review process:

  • Plagiarism index of 10% or less
  • 0% AI-generated content

Manuscripts exceeding the plagiarism threshold or containing AI-generated content will be returned to the author(s) with specific details on the identified issues. Authors will be requested to revise their manuscript and resubmit it within a specified timeframe. Failure to resubmit a compliant manuscript within the designated time frame will result in rejection.

  1. Appeals

Authors who disagree with a plagiarism or AI-content detection finding may submit a formal appeal. Appeals should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief and explain the reasons for the disagreement.

  1. Conclusion

The Law Brigade Publishers is committed to publishing high-quality, original research in the legal field. This policy aims to ensure the integrity of our publications and safeguard the scholarly contributions of our authors.

Please note: This policy is subject to change at any time. We encourage authors to review this policy before submitting a manuscript for publication.
